About

Hi!

I’m Gray. And I need an outlet.

I need a place to vent about the things that piss me off, the things that make me happy and the things that turn me on. I hate my current job (I took a wrong turn somewhere in life) and I need to start doing some of the things that make *me* happy. Here’s an adventure.

Some more about me:

If you had one day left in this world, how would you spend it? – I’d get in my car and drive to the nearest, decent sized body of water, calling friends and family along they way. Once I got there, I’d jump in, depending on how the weather was (if it was cold, I’d put my feet in). Then I’d be 100% in the moment as the day faded and the stars came out.

What’s the worst thing someone has ever done to you? – Let’s just call it emotional abuse and leave it at that.

Who named you? – Well, since I’m not going to tell you my real name, I’ll tell you how I came up with this name.  In short, I’ve always loved horses – and lately, I’ve come to embrace the gray in life – those indefinable moments when the binary is very clearly inadequate.

When was the last time you were sad and why were you sad? – A friend got papercut for a job she was very qualified for. I’m sad that the company she applied for will miss out on her talent and that she’ll have to continue this stressful job search.

If given the chance, would you bungee jump? – No. The springback freaks me out. I’ve sky dived (and loved it) so it’s not the thrill that frightens me. I don’t like the idea of being snapped back and forth with that kind of tension and springback.

What do you love for breakfast? – Ideally, a bowl of fresh berries, still warm from the morning sunshine, possibly even with a light coating of dew. Doesn’t the idea of starting your day like such make you smile?

What is your most recent favorite song? – I don’t know that I have a recent favorite.  But it seems like Kris Allen’s Live Like We’re Dyin’ has been playing in my car every time I need to go somewhere. I think the universe is trying to tell me something.
